World as Self, Self as World
The Personal Is the Political
We are living in a time of considerable tumult. Politics is hitting an all-time low for rancor and toxicity, world economies are shaky, and uncertainty is the new normal. Each of us is impacted by all this in different ways. Most of the time, we experience a sense of duality: “my life” and then the rest of the world.
But what if there were no distinctions between your life and the manifestations of the world? We are all nested systems, permeable to that which happens around us. And as ORSCers we are in a unique position to bring what we know to the world.
Marita Fridjhon and Faith Fuller would like to invite you to attend a two-hour teleclass led by them that explores the world as self and the self as world. Together we’ll examine how our personal symptoms or troubles are a world channel expression, and how is the world channel is reflected in our own experience.
“Be thine own palace, or the world's thy jail."

| Location | Virtual |
| Length | 2 Hours |
Prerequisites: None
When: December 12, 2011 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. PSTIn the first hour we will look at how the world shapes us. What are our own internal Egypts or Libyas? How is our internal system experiencing climate change? We are a microcosm of the world so how is the universal experience reflected in our personal experience?
In the second hour we look at how we shape the world. The world is a manifestation of our collective dreaming; both the strengths and liabilities we have as individuals create the world we live in. What choices are we each making that are contributing to the situation? If ORSC was a path by which we live, what would be the next steps we need to commit to as world workers?
